  •  8 fish fillet
  •  oil for deep frying
  • 200 gms gram flour
  • 100 gms curd
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • Salt To Taste
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp ajwain
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

How To Prepare Indian Fried Fish/Amritsari Fish :

  1. Take the fish, wash and clean it properly and cut one and a half inch size cubes.
  2. Mix lime juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, salt and red chilli powder together and apply evenly on the pieces . Keep them aside for 20minutes.
  3. Prepare a batter of gram flour, curd, egg, ajwain, salt and water. For 15 minutes dip the marinated fish pieces in this batter.
  4. Take a kadhai, heat oil in it and deep fry the pieces of fish till they become golden brown.
  5. Sprinkle chat masala and lemon wedges. Serve Amritsari Fish hot.
